As of January 2020 this amp resides in the collection of the Marshall Museum in Reckershausen, Germany
Siegbert Merker, of the Marshall Museum, purchased this amp from Matt Montgomery. Matt Montgomery had purchased this amp from Billy Clayton. While Billy Clayton owned the amp, Jack Holder was the one using it. Jack was a big time studio guy in Memphis. Jack played with Survivor, Jimi Jameson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, and many others.
In the late 80's Jack Holder did a lot of studio work. While in the studio he met Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmy Vaughan. They were recording for there family style album. SRV had a Dumble amp and used two of Jack's cabs. He asked Jack if he could plug into that old Marshall and check it out. He did and actually used it on the album. Hes got a pic of himself with SRV and the amps at the studio.
